Mr. Cancienne joined Blue Sage Capital in 2026. Previously, he worked at Statesman Business Advisors, a middle market investment bank focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital sourcing, and strategic advisory services.

Prior to Statesman, Mr. Cancienne was an Associate Relationship Manager in Frost Bank’s commercial banking group, where he underwrote and managed loans for commercial clients across a broad range of industries.

Mr. Cancienne received his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University.
